B.S. Building Construction Management – Purdue University | Joined Madison 01/2018
Why do you like working in construction?
Construction is unique in the fact that everything you do for a project has a visual and physical outcome. Progress can be seen each and every day, and there is something intensely satisfying about seeing exactly what you’ve worked so long and hard for. From the single-family homes, I started building all the way up to multi-million dollar commercial buildings, there is a great sense of pride and accomplishment when you can point at a building and say “Yeah, WE did that”.
What was your first job in construction?
Rough Carpenter – TimberRidge Builders
What is your favorite Madison project to date?
I am currently on my first project with Madison, so the Latitude project would have to be my favorite (and my least favorite, I guess)
How has Madison helped in your career development?
Not only have I learned a ton about the industry, but I also learned how to best fulfill my role as a Project Engineer. Madison is a great company and now I can add a very important and admirable line item to my resume.
Describe Madison in three words…
Energetic. Experienced. Driven.
When I’m not working you’ll find me…
Spending as much time as I can with my friends and family, whether that be golfing, playing hockey and basketball, spending time on my boat skiing and wakeboarding, riding my motorcycle, snowboarding, or anything else!
