Madison Construction completed the construction of this 17-story, 110-Unit, 240-Bed,cast-in-place Student Life Center for East-West University in 2013. The first seven floors of the
building are comprised of:
• 500 Seat Auditorium
• Academic and extracurricular facilities
• Retail shops
• Student wellness center
• Library & resource center
• Student labs
• Administrative offices
• Common area spaces
• Basketball Court & Fitness Centers

The vertical campus unites the elements of a typical campus experience, including classrooms, laboratories, administrative spaces, fitness spaces, and dormitories within one building. To create the spontaneous interaction that occurs within a quadrangle on a traditional campus, a vertical quadrangle was created at the center of the building. Each of these floors wrap around and through a “vertical quad” that connects to the main street entry.

Floors 8-16 are reserved for student-housing. Common spaces are located on the west, overlooking the street to take advantage of the downtown view. The top floor is dedicated to a lounge, board room, and terrace.
