This occupied renovation took place in 2 phases and had a very complex schedule based on the relocation of residents throughout the duration of the project. The scope of work included the installation of new kitchen tier risers, new bathroom tier risers, new interior finishes, and plumbing fixtures. In addition, life safety work included the installation of two-way communication systems, elevator recall systems and smoke detectors in all elevator lobbies. The roof was also repaired. In order to avoid service interruptions in adjacent units, certain risers were operational at all times.
Madison Construction has past experience on several multi-family residential projects where residents have been relocated temporarily during the construction process. It is always Madison’s goal to make the relocation process as seamless as possible.
