Oak Lawn High School

The project at Oak Lawn High School included the addition of a new 3,600 square foot mechanical room to house all new mechanical/boiler equipment, all new mechanical piping, HVAC, and electrical throughout the school, the removal and replacement of 90,000 square feet of corridor acoustical ceilings, and ceiling patching in all rooms. The new chiller room produces ice in off-peak demand periods, then the ice is used to cool the building during the day. New finishes and site utilities were installed. Extensive landscaping and site restoration of the school’s courtyard was done to include new grass and an asphalt parking lot/driveway. The completed project provides a high quality, energy effi-cient environment that allows students to effectively focus their attention on learning.
